A world-renowned Wine & Spirit, Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition 2017, returned to Asia, curating Wine & Spirit companies and brands to be rewarded.

One of the lists is Hatten Wines that received recognition as ‘Best Dessert Wine From South East Asia’ (trophy) and ‘Sweet Fortified Wines’ (gold medal).  Competing with 33 countries and about 2,000 entries, this Balinese winery underwent the qualification of those categories and reached the pinnacle of Asian wines’ as the ‘benchmark’ of outstanding quality in fortified wines.  Bronze Medals were also granted to Hatten Wines Rosé, Hatten Wines Alexandria, Hatten Wines Jepun Sparkling Rosé and also Hatten Wines Tunjung Sparkling.

These accolades surely are a huge honor for the brand as this competition concurrently ensures the quality in each bottle. With a record 49 judges, this year’s panel included five of Asia’s Masters of Wine – Debra Meiburg MW (Hong Kong), Sonal Holland MW (India), Tan Ying Hsien MW (Singapore), Kenichi Ohashi MW (Japan) and Asia’s newest Master of Wine, Sarah Heller MW (Hong Kong), leveling up Hatten Wines’ awareness to Asian market. Congratulations!
