As a surfing instructor, Rocky indeed has a fetish to water feature. Based in Nusa Dua he does not let himself stay behind the distance and yet loves to discover another shoreline afar including Candidasa. Here is his story towards his road trip to the eastern part.
Start from Sanur
Morning is the best time to begin a journey, he expects. Taking Sanur route, he and his group anticipate possible mess that could fall everything part by fueling their belly with the tasty menu of Goddes Bakery. Specializing in pastry delights, so along with a bargain breakfast there are a couple almond croissants and takeaway Americano’s going spare for the remainder of the journey.

After about an Hour
Candidasa area can be reached by an hour or an hour and half by car. On this trip Rocky has to driver more than 45 minutes to stay in Bali Santi Bungalows. Stepping in, his expectation meets reality as the price range and facilities balance out. Their nice-looking infinity pool, that draws you intimately into the waves, is a particular highlight. It is obvious that the individual beachfront bungalows would make the perfect honeymoon suites and there is a general romantic feel to the surroundings.

Can’t wait to finally meet face to face with the eastern wind, right after savoring lunch at the bungalow, Rocky and friends head to Virgin Beach. It is located on Jl. Raya Bugbug, Sengkidu, Karangasem , five kilometers to the north east of Candidasa. Despite living, working, and essentially spending the best part of their time on the beach, the selection of Bali beachfronts, including in this area, is never ending, and they are determined to explore them all.
There is only one way to rectify the burned skin situation –after challenging Bali’s sun all day: devouring Balinese BBQ. Lotus Seaview is the selected place to bash where gigantic prawns and other seafood bites are on offer, with classic Balinese staples such as nasi goreng matched with the spectacular ocean view and gentle sea breeze.

Departing home goes the same as leaving home, the earlier, the better. So they travel back early in the morning before bad traffic roams. And of course coffee is on the agenda which leads them to swing by the famous Seniman Coffee Studio for a fresh coffee hit and walk around their unique workshop, which has a roasting demonstration and latte art showcase.
